Revenge - Chapter 18
Who's getting revenge on who in this chapter? Is Becky trying to revenge on Tom, or is Tom trying to get revenge on Becky? Use specific examples from the book to support your answer. Then, write whether or not either of them was in the right. Would you have acted the same as either Tom or Becky? Has a similar situation like this happened to you or someone you know? How is your situation similar to Tom and Becky's?

ReplyDeleteI think that tom is getting back on becky.Why? Because he's mad that she was hanging out with some guy named alfred. Tom had alfred get switched. Right back at tom alfred dumped ink on his spelling book.Which was very rude.

ReplyDeleteTom is going to get revenge on Becky because well she broke his heart and well if I know Tom that he never ever loses at his own game. I think that what he is going to do is going to be really immature and that he should stop it because vilonce or trick is deffintaly not the ansmer.
ReplyDeleteIt is both, because they both keep trying to make each other jealous. But in the end Becky still is trying to get back at Tom. She scene Alfred dump ink inside of Tom's book but did not tell him.
ReplyDeleteTom gets revenge on Becky because Tom was showing off and ignoring her. So then Becky see that so Becky starts to ignore him and go look at comic books with some person and Tom thinks that thats her boyfriend so now tom wants to get revenge for what Becky did to make tom feel bad. I don't know why but I would act the same why that Tom and Becky are acting right know. I don't think I've been or know some one in this situation that they're in.

I think tom will get revenge on becky because becky is cheating on him with alfred. if I was tom I would be furious. then I would go to becky and tell her I am alive and not to tell any body.

Like would have told Tom about how Alferd spilled ink all over his spelling test. I would have tried to make Tom mad by doing the same thing that Becky did. ReplyDeleteBecky is trying to get revenge on Tom. When Tom was talking to Amy, Becky got mad and tried to Tom mad by sitting by another boy at recess. and Tom go mad and he took off and found Joe and Huck and they all went to the island.

I think that Becky is going to get revenge at Tom Sawyer because well he broke her heart when he said that he and some one else before she was ever there that he loved and then well right after a kiss and well that was just not what should have happened. Then I know that Tom is defiantly going to get revenge on Becky Thatcher because in the book he even said so and well if I know Tom is that he does what he says he is going to do and when he ran away he said that that was how he was going to get revenge on her and not just her all of them and so when he does they better watch out and that is when it will happen. Yes, someone I know has been in a situation like Tom and Becky and well it was not pretty and I am not going to blame any one or tell you the names just trust me okay and thank you if you do.
